The University of Banja Luka will announce a competition for the enrollment of a new generation of students on June 8, 2022, and the entrance exams are planned for June 27.
The text of the competition for enrollment of students in the first year of study in all cycles of studies in the academic year 2022/23. will be published in daily newspapers and on the website of the University of Banja Luka www.unibl.org.
As stated in the Academic Calendar of the University of Banja Luka, the admission of documents for enrollment in the first year of the first cycle of studies will last from June 20 to 26, and enrollment of candidates who pass the entrance exam and gain the right to enroll is planned from July 4 to 7. this year.
The second enrollment period will be organized at faculties and study programs that do not enroll the planned number of students in the first period. According to the Academic Calendar, it is planned that the second enrollment period will begin with the announcement of the competition for student enrollment, on August 17, 2022. The reception of documents is planned from August 29 to September 2, while the entrance exams are scheduled for September 5, 2022. Candidates who successfully pass the entrance exam in the second term and acquire the right to enroll can enroll in studies in the period from 12 to 16 September.
The University of Banja Luka is the leading higher education institution in the Republic of Srpska, where about 15,000 students from all parts of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad are currently studying. Classes are held at 16 faculties and one academy, in about 150 study programs in all three cycles of study.

Adopted list of deficient occupations as a basis for scholarships

The Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska has adopted a list of deficient occupations which will be the basis for awarding scholarships to students in these study programs. We are proud to point out that for the first time on the list of deficit occupations 2021/22. year and finds the study program Forestry, or exit profile – graduate forestry engineer. Having in mind the importance of forests and forest land for the development of Republika Srpska, and the importance of this exit profile, in this way the Government of Republika Srpska recognized the importance of the Faculty of Forestry and this exit profile for survival and providing quality staff in JPS „Forests of Republika Srpska“.
This measure aims to help and encourage studying in this study program as well as improve the social status of students. The management of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Banja Luka will actively cooperate with all relevant institutions in the coming period, in order to provide better study conditions for their students, but also to improve the position of graduate forestry engineers in Republika Srpska.
