The Faculty of Forestry will be moving to a new and modern building next year, which has been designed according to the highest environmental standards. The total area of the building is 7,200 square meters. The building is located in a pleasant, lush setting within the University City of Banja Luka – the former barracks „Vrbas“ – with all available elements necessary for quality work and student vacation. The building is designed to efficiently save and optimally consume energy for heating and cooling.

Students will have at their disposal a library on two levels, one large amphitheater with over 150 seats, three small amphitheaters with 56 seats each, over 20 classrooms and exercise rooms, laboratories, a scriptorium, and a coffee bar for pleasant socializing during breaks. A modern approach to student services through innovative software solutions was used in designing this new space. In addition, students have easy and quick access to a dormitory, student canteen, sports fields, swimming pools, botanical gardens, shops, etc.
The campus is well connected to all regions of the city, which can be easily and quickly reached via walking or public transport.

Teachers and associates will have at their disposal modern, well-equipped classrooms, and a pleasant working environment that is transparent to students.
For the needs of scientific research, there will be several laboratories equipped with modern devices and instruments, as well as a herbarium designed according to world standards.
The facility will be used by the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, which will cooperate in educating students at interdisciplinary concepts shared by the two faculties (design of wood products, construction, design of green areas, and many others where the two faculties meet in science and application).
