History

The Faculty of Forestry has been an organizational unit of the University of Banja Luka since 1992.

As a result of the war in BiH, a decision was made to change the seat of the Faculty of Forestry from Sarajevo (No. 01-176 / 92) to Banja Luka on September 12, 1992. Thanks to the cordial acceptance and understanding of the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, and especially colleagues from the Faculties of Economics, Law, Electrical Engineering, Technology and Mechanical Engineering, the necessary space for relocated equipment, documentation and conditions for the Faculty of Forestry in Banja Luka was made possible. Today, the Faculty has a well-equipped space for teaching, including cabinets and laboratories spanning 1100 square meters in total. Although this space is  quite small in terms of size, classes at the Faculty of Forestry take place in a functional manner.
