In the first year of the Forestry and Wood Processing programs, a person who has a four-year secondary education acquired in the Republika Srpska, Brčko District and the Federation of BiH or equivalent education abroad can enroll on a competitive basis.
The evaluation of the candidate’s results is based on the results achieved in the previous high school education and at the entrance exam. Candidates who have acquired secondary education abroad may take the entrance exam, provided that they has previously validated their high school diploma. Candidates have the right to take the entrance exam in the language that is in official use in BIH.
The number of candidates for enrollment in the study program, as well as the ratio of students whose education is financed from the budget and self-financing students, is determined by the relevant Ministry.
- A candidate may be enrolled at the expense of the budget if he / she has passed the entrance exam and is ranked on the final ranking list within the number approved for enrollment at the expense of the budget.
- A candidate can be enrolled as a self-financing student if he / she has passed the entrance exam and is ranked on the final ranking list within the number approved for enrollment.
- A foreign citizen can enroll in the AGGF study program under the same conditions as a domestic citizen. Tuition fees are paid by the foreign citizen during the entire education, unless otherwise determined by an international or bilateral agreement of the University of Banja Luka.
When applying for the competition, candidates submit original documents, the application form, as well as:
- certificates of all four grades of secondary school or documents on equivalent education abroad;
- diploma on passing the final or Matura exam;
- proof of payment for the entrance exam fee, as well as other documents provided by the competition.
Candidates who have completed their education abroad are required to submit proof of nostrification of the diploma and a translation of all documents in one of the official languages of BiH.
The selection of candidates for enrollment in the first year of study is done according to the result achieved at the entrance exam and their general success in high school. General success in high school refers to the average grade in all subjects in the first, second, third and fourth grades (rounded to two decimal places), which is multiplied by ten when scoring. The highest number of points, according to the general success of the candidate, is 50.
The entrance exam consists of the Test of General Knowledge and Interest in Forestry or the Test of General Knowledge and Interest in Wood Processing depending on the study program that the candidates have chosen.
