SEEFOR Magazine (South-Eeast European Forestry) is a world-renowned magazine that has become increasingly important in the possession of Time. It was founded in 2009 by 6 scientific water institutions in field of forestry in Southeastern Europe, one of which being the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka. It is a magazine that showcases open access, peer-reviewed articles, which are published in electronic form (e-ISSN 1849-0891) and in a printed edition (ISSN 1847-6481). The journal publishes original, new and high-quality papers that impart scientific, research and operational progress in the fields of biotechnical sciences, with a special emphasis on forestry and related branches. SEEFOR publishes scientific papers on environmental, economic, technical, technological, social and all other aspects of forestry and wood processing.
The journal is currently on the list of journals to be included in the SCI list, ie on the ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) list, and papers can be found on the Web of Science Core Collection (ESCI Database). The magazine’s CiteScore index is 0.8 for 2019, ranking 97/140 (Q3) in the „Forestry“ category. SEEFOR is expected to gain an impact factor by the end of 2021 and be placed on the SCI list, making the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka one of the few institutions that co-publishes an international indexed journal on the SCI list.
